Meet the Team

Peakventure is run by Liv Lodahl and Rebecca Parkes

Living our best life in the Swiss Alps at the foot of the Matterhorn, we aspire to create memorable events and retreats for our clients.

Owner

Liv Lodahl

Having spend most of my childhood holidays in Zermatt, I decided to move here when I was 19 years old - never have I regretted my decision. Since I moved to Zermatt I have been working within the tourism and hospitality sector, in many different areas. Furthermore, I did my degree in service, hospitality and tourism management whilst working in Zermatt.

With peakventure I fullfill a long-standing dream to finally being able to share my fascination for this magical place with everyone.

Rebecca Parkes

Having grown up in Zermatt my enthusiasm for nature and outdoors was put into my cradle. Zermatt is a stunning enviroment to be working and living in, and I count myself very lucky for it. I have worked in healthcare for several years and I love working with people, helping and caring. Nevertheless I always felt like there is something missing.

With the foundation of Peakventure I can share my interest for sports and health while also making people excited about the amazing outdoors of the Swiss alps.

Our Story

Since the moment we met, we have been close friends! We love to go on adventures together, experiencing new things and of course we also enjoy the occasional glass of wine with good company in one of the many establishments in Zermatt.

We have always shared the dream of starting our own business and with Peakventure we have fulfilled that dream. As close friends, we believe that together we can support and compliment each other very well in this job.

For us Peakventure is about sharing a passion - a passion for the mountains, nature, being outdoors, health, sport and of course Zermatt. Peakventure has been created, with the aim to help people experience Zermatt in a different way and not just to tick off another destination of their bucket list. With our retreats and event services we hope to show you Zermatt, in the way us locals see it and leave you wanting to come back to experience even more.

We put our heart and soul into this company and hope that everyone can feel the excitement it gives to us.
